Shawn Black
International award-winning boudoir photographer, author, and educator
Shawn Black is an international award-winning boudoir photographer and the owner of Couture Black in Boston, Massachusetts. Since 2021, he has served as President of the Association of International Boudoir Photographers (AIBP), where he actively advocates for and educates the global boudoir community.
Known for his dramatic lighting and editorial style, Shawn’s work has been featured in leading industry publications including Rangefinder and Professional Photographer. He has taught and spoken at major conferences such as WPPI, Imaging USA, ShutterFest, ClickCon, Exposure Europe, and AIBP events, along with numerous workshops and mentorships.
Recognized as one of the top photographers in the genre, Shawn has received multiple awards including AIBP’s Photographer to Watch (2017) and Photographer of the Year (2019), and is sponsored by industry-leading brands.
